The Cross of Lack-The Hannah Anointing
There’s something powerful about Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel. She knew what it felt like to carry the pain of lack, unanswered prayers, and waiting seasons — yet she refused to let her struggle silence her.
While others ate, Hannah sat in silence. She fasted. She prayed. She poured out her soul before God. Even when people misunderstood her pain, she stayed at the altar.
Lack will tell you you’re forgotten, but Hannah reminds us that God still remembers His people. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Even in empty seasons, God still provides.
Hannah’s womb was closed, but her purpose was not. The very place of her pain became the place where God produced a miracle. Samuel was birthed through prayer, surrender, and persistence.
Don’t sit in your season of lack — rise in it. Pray through it. Worship through it.
Because God can still bring purpose out of your pain.
